This past week or so I came upon an effective method to shift awareness to address some recurring patterns I have been stuck in. I am finding this practice to be consistently effective to bring me out of my patterns and into a more peaceful place. Each time used I have moved from hopeless reaction into empowered awareness.

The progression of the steps is very natural and gives a path to healing the pattern. The final step is one of faith that I know is possible but obviously in the short time working with this method do not have a lot of experience with yet. Hopefully the concepts and descriptions below are clear.

Trigger
- The first step is that you realize you are triggered. You witness your situation and realize that the powerful emotions and confusing circumstances are actually a repeating pattern that you have fallen into once again.

Awareness
- Now you start to survey your feelings objectively and begin to see the many facets of the pattern. What led to it, how you reacted, and your feelings both within the pattern and about the fact that you have the pattern.

Acceptance
- In this step total acceptance of all aspects of the pattern. Emotional detachment. You embrace the fact that it happened and there is no more judgement. All circumstances that led to the pattern happened, and you accept this.

Understanding
- Now that your emotions are no longer blocking your willingness to gain understanding you can start to gather information. How did this happen? How did I react in the past? What other options are available to me in the future?

Management
- Using the newly gained information you can now take steps to heal the causes of pattern and to set up systems so that your future reactions are ones of growth and change instead of stagnation and repeated suffering.

Change
- Eventually your detachment and behavior changes pay off and new growth takes place to make you stronger in ways that were previously unimagined. You can let of of the management strategies required for the the transformation. Unseen forces direct us and guide our experiences and our lives. We may think, or feel, at times that we are not connected or that we stand alone, but often there are signs from Spirit, our guides and angels, that tell us that we do not walk alone, that we are not alone and their love and wisdom is always with us.

It is time for us all to realize that there is something greater within us that IS connected to the universal whole. God guides our steps in ways that we hardly realize, with His bounty and His/Her love.

There is a spiritual presence that lives within us, whether we regard this as a form, a deity, or angel. We are each angels, in my opinion, and we are here to sing songs, have joy, and be happy, and to live in the creative and spiritual freedom that is our divine birthright.

Our angelic and divine presence is with us always, it lives within us, and is nestled in our heart. As we commune with this presence of light and love within, and be quiet or still for a moment, coming into our heart and the presence of love and light that resides there, then we open the door for the Divine to whisper to us through our heart song and feeling choices.

There is never any right or wrong, "Should I go that way or should I go this way." It does not matter. We are Divine no matter what we do or don't do. We exist as this regardless of the outward flow of our lives, activities, or existence.

So to hear our angels or the divine voice within, we only need to sit still and listen for a few moments to our heart--as we quiet the voices from the external and simply drop into the loving and the light that exists there, in our spiritual and beautiful heart.

There, in that place, love is always given and grace can be known. And then the songs of our angels arise, guiding us in our heart choices and bringing us moments of divine grace, that brings to us great peace.

So, be still and be quiet for a while. Take a breath and open the door to the divine heart within. (You could visualize this if you want.) Imagine those doors, of your spiritual heart, opening and only light and love flooding through and surrounding you. This light fills you with its love. If this voice of love were to say anything, perhaps it might say:

"You are just love, you are only love, and nothing outside of this has any bearing upon you whatsoever. Whatever your experience has been, or still is, it is only part of an outward journey that is bringing you home to this truth--that you are only love. So blessed be.

There is a light born within ourselves in each moment. It is likened to the sun rising over the horizon that illuminates that which is held in darkness—in the void of night—waiting to be born.

This light can be felt within, it is received from that Divine cup from which we drink, and it also gives rise to us, through us, and illuminates ourselves in that process.

The light cannot be contained. It cannot always sit in the stillness of our own heart, although this is a necessary part of our experience. The stillness of Spirit is a place of nurturance and love which is essential to our well being, and like a loving parent who nurtures us, feeds us, and meets our every need, then encourages to leave the safe nest and bring our light of Self forward so that we can find our own true voice--through our own individual light and song of light that wishing to shine like the dawn of our own and humankind's awakening. This can of course only happen when we have had our cup, our needs, fulfilled.

The "spiritual nest" is never truly left, however. It is our home, it is the wellspring that continues to exist inside of us, feeds us with its love, and hold us within its presence. It cannot be left behind, and must not be, otherwise the terrain of life's expression and existence becomes much as the same as it was once before, when we wandered in the terrain of separateness and suffered that experience—of aloneness, want, lack, and need.

On this journey of Self emergence, however, the light is birthed anew, as we move forward and become something that has never truly been our conscious experience. It is the experience of walking in the world as our light, lifted on the wings of Mother Father Spirit, and hence we become a "walker between worlds."

We are walking in the light of God, of heaven, inside of us. We are walking in the light of our newfound love, that is Spirit, that is unconditional, and always available to us in each moment. From this emotional and spiritual foundation we will not succumb to an old paradigm of identifying with our many creations or expressions, or the outer world and its value system, because we know that we are simply "of the light" and nothing out-there can suffice in feeding us, in the way that this inner light provides. So, we never have to fear retreating into the paradigm that we have left behind, before our spiritual emergence and union with Divine love occurred.

We are therefore free to spread our wings and to give of our light and our loving, knowing that we are already held in good hands—the hands of Our Mother Father Spirit. We can never walk alone again.

Our emergence and our expression then becomes simply to be "of our light" and to give it expression, because that's what light does, it simply shines like the sun; it sings like the songbird and moves like the stirring branches of the tree. It has life and movement, just as it has stillness, and both are needed for our nature to expand; we need both, and both are provided through this light of love, of God, of the Spirit that lives within us. And so it is. :snow:

Spiritualism, one can tell them, means the opposite to Materialism. That is, a concept of a spiritual universe as opposed to a chemical 'accident'; the concept that all is Spirit, or God, manifesting in manifold forms.
The concept that man is spirit, a soul clad in a physical body while on earth, and in finer bodies of a higher vibrationary frequency in other spheres after 'physical' death.

One can tell them that Spiritualism is based on proven communication with the so-called 'dead' who are very much alive, and that the teachings of Spiritualism have been and are being given to us by highly evolved disincarnate teachers, specially trained for this contact, generally refered to as The White Brotherhood, acting on behalf of the Christ Spirit which is universal.

One can tell them that the fundamental law of the universe is Love, Service, the overcoming of the lower self, and continuous spiritual progression up the spheres of light - the exact opposite to black magic or witchcraft which desecrates love, seeks only power over others, power over material gain, serves the worst instincts of the lower self to a bestial degree, and pushes people down into the spheres of darkness.
